Fast and reliable analysis of grain

The Field Lab is a portable near-infrared (NIR) device with patented technology that analyzes protein, moisture, carbohydrates and oil contents from cereal grains. Only a few kernels are needed, and results are obtained in few seconds.

Because of the patented sampling technology (grain inside an “integrating sphere”) the light intensity arriving at the detector is several hundred times higher than otherwise possible. This enables the building of a small, battery-operated device.
